I agree with the notion that the building of a PC can easily overtake the gaming as the primary hobby. Planning out the build, faux-blueprinting the cabling and placement of components, planning out runs of a custom loop, choosing the right case to match your designs... It's easily my favourite part. Having a crazy powerful rig is only good if that rig is quiet, and looks amazing doing it. PC building took over the part of my life that building up my old Volvo previously took. Now I drive a piece of crap with no heat, but at least I can play at 3440x1440 100Hz/4K60Hz. Platform of choice comes down to user preference. I'll argue that there is no inherent advantage to console gaming outside of price/performance and accessibility, and those are easily outweighed by the wealth of choice one has as a PC gamer. If you prefer to play on console, that's your prerogative, but I do believe you're robbing yourself of excellent experiences by not just having a computer on the side in that case.

DarkKratozLOL at POC with no heat. You basically are doing the nerd version of having 20 inch rims but living at home with your mom. Oh, that made my day.
