dghwThere were certain kits added and some changes made with kits between Round 2/3 and 4 for Granite. Also, WhiteFox Round 1 came with an etching at the bottom of the keyboard that stated it is round 1 and the round 2 did not.

kunalkumarIf I'm understanding your post regarding limits, it should be a limit of 1 kit of each kind per person not 2. If someone wants Carbon alphas they should be limited to 1 alpha kit, 1 mod kit, etc. not 2. Spread the wealth.

VigrithYou'll be lucky if you have time to add one item and check out before everything is sold. there are 2k+ people requesting keycaps for what amounts to ~ less than 2k kits. By the time you add orange carbon alphas to your cart and go back for a mod kit, both items will probably be sold out before you hit the place order button.

ChitownM2About half of these requests are like a year old from when the previous closet sale happened, a lot of people also request for the sake of requests (not so much nowadays but still happens), plus a lot of sets/kits will be neglected whilst others will be super popular. You're also assuming everyone will have enough money to buy what they want, we don't know the prices yet.

kunalkumarWere these VE.As considered B-stock? The bare metal switch plate I received had quite a few scratches on top (bottom is worse) and one large nick on the edge of the ISO enter cutout. Don't see the B-class marking on mine though. This is my first kit though, so maybe it's normal?
(Not sure if it was due to the insufficient buffer in the packaging; the wrapped bundle was able to slide up and down inside the box and many of the air packets had burst.)
Also, small matter, but I guess this isn't the same as the original Massdrop kit? Because mine didn't come with the SATA and mini-USB cable.

Silent Holy Panda X?
I ordered some Holy Panda X switches, and I fell in love with them. They are a joy to type on. There's just one problem. The place that I use my keyboard to type the most is obviously at work, which is a problem if I want to use the Holy Panda X in the office around a whole bunch of people. I really don't want to torture my coworkers with the clack of these switches. I'd rather they still liked me. The good news is that, for me, the actuation of the Holy Panda X is the best part. I could take or leave the sound it makes; even if it is fantastic. Which leads me to my conundrum: is there another "silent" switch that feels similar to the Holy Panda X? Is there a piece I can remove from the Holy Panda X that would allow me to make them silent? Or am I going to have to wait and see if Drop will drop a Silent Holy Panda X for the in-office mech community?
