Support for Alternative Layouts
This is a summary of how alternative layouts have been supported by kits such as Colevrak and Homing. It is not a discussion of alt layout performance and development, but if that interests you I highly recommend starting with Pascal Getreuer’s A guide to alt keyboard layouts (why, how, which one?). Hey everyone, Robin here!
I'd like to get your thoughts and gauge your interest in a project I've been working on over the last year. It's a graphically programmable shortcut keypad which allows you to automate anything at the press of a button. It went down really well on reddit/r/mechanicalkeyboards so following on from that, I'd like to see what the Massdrop community thinks. Check it out!
It's not dissimilar to the (very nice) Rama M10 in capabilities, but is a bit smaller, has a different style of interface using drag-and-drop boxes, and is probably going to be at a slightly lower price point too.
To put a face to a post, here is me exhibiting at Maker Faire UK - it went down really well :)
Happy clacking,
Robin
