Support for Alternative Layouts
This is a summary of how alternative layouts have been supported by kits such as Colevrak and Homing. It is not a discussion of alt layout performance and development, but if that interests you I highly recommend starting with Pascal Getreuer’s A guide to alt keyboard layouts (why, how, which one?). It’s a concise and comprehensive overview with links to some great sites that go deeper. He also has a separate Links about keyboards page. The Keyboard layouts doc he recommends explains layout goals and metrics in detail, summarizing the alt layouts discussed here as well as more than one hundred others. I downloaded and installed zadig, then that other junk software kii dfu, i have no idea how to even install the kii dfu software as it doesnt give any options to so, I think I unzipped it by extracting it to my downloads folder, but then what? what do i click on to install it?
What a joke it's so frustrating is there any easy steps I can follow or that anyone can show me? I have no idea about programs and such and all this complicated stuff.
Isnt there just some basic sofware I can just install so i can use my keyboard and change the colours etc, been trying to work this out for 4 hours now and no luck.
I'm on windows 10 by the way
Please help!
