Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. - Price lower than 200 dollars, even 150 or 100 if possible
- Mobile-friendly - I want to use them with my phone and laptop without investing extra money in an amp and dac.
- Preferebly over-ear, but comfortable on-ears are fine too.
- I'm planning on using them only at home (I have earbuds for commuting) for music, movies, videos and a bit of gaming, and I listen for most genres, but mostly rock (from queen to a7x).
- Open back because I did some research, and even though I never tried one, they seem to fit my needs (use at home) and I'd like to try a pair
In my research and came across headphones like the hd598, Grado sr60/80/125e (even though they are on ear), k7xx, dt990s and more, and since I'm new in this subject, I'm very confused (so many headphones).Do you have any recommendations for me on this topic?
