They cost me very little money, but plenty of time. These are the first, and only knives I have made so far. I made them special for my first elk hunt, and were used to field dress it.

PigmonkeYThank you, its an old farriers rasp. You have to find an old, made in USA one to ensure good steel throughout.

L8BrakeThat's why a lot of this stuff is regional. If there isn't a tradition of certain industries in your area, these things can be hard to find. Nice work. Is it a full convex grind/edge?
