What is SpaceFN and why you should give it a try
The SpaceFN concept - setting up your space key as a layer switch when held - is probably one of the most useful tweaks in the keyboard hobby. Let me explain how it works. This board was definitely manufactured to ship with some other company's product, whose logo conspicuously sits where IBM's should. And no, IBM's logo isn't printed underneath, I checked. I'm guessing the board shipped with a piece of analytical equipment, judging by the "DATA ANALYSIS" and "INSTR CONTROL" labels, but after quite a bit of digging I have exactly 0 ideas about it's origin. I can't find that logo anywhere. If anyone has any insight, I'd love to hear about it.
Anyway, because my office is ridiculously quiet, I'm being kindly asked to retire the beast (they're letting me keep it, at least). As of this Christmas, she'll be replaced by a WASD V2 with MX-Clears.
