The Red series is built to suit home NAS systems, not for internal desktops, and will have a lower RPM for read/write time. Not really great I/O for playing games or intensive data transfer, unless put into a RAID array, but they come with a 5 year warranty.
I just want a high capacity drive, I have never seen a drop for an HDD on here and that's what I want to see most...
Might be a good idea to check out recent charts for harddrive failure rates across the three companies before making a selection.
