Sadly the Makerbot printers aren't very good quality... My school has 2 Replicator 2s and they've been nothing but trouble :(

Hi Everyone,
Everything is looking good for a Printrbot Kit Massdrop! We're working on photos and listing details but everything is looking good for a run later on this month.
In addition, we've been sourcing plastic filaments, stepper motors, rods, and other parts. From the looks of it, we'll be able to run all the products you need to dive into 3d printing at the most affordable prices possible.
Stay tuned for more info but things are looking good and we're excited to start listing 3D Printer products : )

Hello Everyone,
We just spoke with Printrbot and it looks like they're interested in listing. We're still working with them to finalize all the details but right now things are looking good for a Printrbot JR Massdrop. It's still in the early stages and we cant make any promises but hopefully they decide to list soon.

We've spoken with everyone mentioned in this poll at right now they're not interested in buys like ours. We're still talking with printrbot and hopefully we can work something out soon. In the mean time, we may be able to put together a RepRap kit. Is that something ya'll would be interested in?

So this is a stretch, but I just off the phone with a Stratasys rep and they do discounting on group purchases. Retail is $9,800. We would need 3 people in the drop to start getting discounts.

"The Printrbot jr v1 kit will no longer be for sale after Saturday, August 24th."<br /><br />This option needs to be removed or replaced with something else.<br /><br />The Printbot Jr V2 is only available fully assembled, and it costs $630.
