Hey everyone, I've been in touch with the vendor and I think we're getting close to making this happen...
Hey @trworley -- Thanks for starting the poll, I've reached out to Mcusta and hope to have news for everyone sometime in May.
I would love to see the Zero Tolerance win, then I wouldn't feel bad paying full retail, lol. They make excellent knives, and I've been wanting to buy one for a while.
I currently carry a Mcusta and it's fantastic. Well worth what I paid for it, so another one at a group discount wont disappoint.
I had not seen the Spyderco Hungarian Phallus before. Looks interesting.
Anybody have any suggestions for knives around the $75 price point? A Kershaw Blur can be had for around ~$60 depending on steel and I think they're made very well. I'd like something like that... but sleeker.

genuine damascus, solid deployment/lockup, well finished
Everyone's definition of "affordable" is different. If you'd rather see a cheaper knife listed, add it to the poll.
The picture representing the zt450 is a photo of the zt900. Pretty different knife. Someone should probably change it.
What sort of 'gentleman' needs to carry a folding knife?

One who likes to be prepared by having a useful TOOL on hand.

Well how else are you going to take fedora tipping to the next level, m'lady?
80%+ of these knives do NOT fall under the "affordable" category lol
22 people considered a sebenza to be affordable...
Many of these are too long at 4"+ closed to be what I'd consider a gentleman's folding knife.
I would like to see this Opinel No. 8 go up also lost my last one to a lake and have wanted a new one every sense
When I hear affordable I certainly do not think over $50. Sure it might be a good deal but hell if its affordable
I'm not entirely sure about the price point of the Mcusta. I'm looking around and seeing more $120 to $150, where it's shown as MSRP $204 here, but that is MSRP and not selling price. That being said, in terms of knives, I'd say it's not terrible for price. It's unique, without being a super bold design like the Spyderco Kiwi, and good quality, without being the price of the Hungarian folder. If we can get a good deal on it, I'd definitely order the Mcusta, maybe with the CRKT and Opinel tied for second.
