These knives are made of cheap 420 stainless with a cheap coating. They are the same as those $5 'tacticool' knives on amazon, just being sold for $40. Not only that, but many of the CS:GO knives are based on knife models from actual companies. The flip knife is a Benchmade Bedlam. The M-9 is a Ka-bar (various models). The Falcon Knife is a Cold Steel Espada (Large I think). All of the other fixed blades can be found by tons of reputable knife companies that use quality materials.
The Balisong (Butterfly Knife) for CS:GO is somewhat unique, although (as a balisong flipper myself) probably isn't too practical for flipping. It has uneven handles, which is really really bad for flipping (I have a Microtech Metalmark, and although you can do tricks with it, its not that good), and it has a protruding finger guard (which gets in the way for even some of the most basic tricks).
Now, you might think this is a rant (and it kinda is), but the point I want to get across is: don't go for these knives. They aren't meant as tools for cutting, they are meant as desk ornaments.
If you are looking for knives that you can use, get the originals. Yes, they are more expensive, and yes, most of them don't have a paint job. However, other knives can be used for practical cutting tasks, and will last a really long time. When you look at companies like Benchmade and Cold Steel, you will find they have really good warranties as well.
Interestingly, Elemental knives is getting away with ripping off the Benchmade design without repercussions? It looks identical, and even has the axis lock...
