well the x34 had some major issue, if people are not voting for the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q, you should at least for for the x34A which corrected some of the issues of the original x34
I can't believe how many votes the 34 inch ACER is getting. It's max refresh rate in overclock is 100hz....the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q and PG279Q's are atleast getting to 144hz....plus 27 inches is plenty for a standard desk set up. People surprise me haha.
I own the PG278Q and I bought it back when none of the other products existed. To this day it is still nothing short of amazing and I can't speak enough for this monitor. However, its been 2 years, and now the X34 is king of the hill. BE AWARE: driving any 1440p monitor at 100+fps takes SERIOUS GPU power for any modern games on High, let alone ultra. Your best bet is running 2 high-end consumer cards to match the performance of the panel. But if you are shelling out $600+ on a monitor, this should come as no big surprise
