I just hope the Cherry MX Blue RGB switches have been sorted out this time around. Picked up a corsair K70 LUX RGB with the Blues last month and it was the worst experience ever. Half of the keys were inconsistent and not clicky at all, and the modifiers felt very mushy/stiff.
It's all handled onboard, no software required. Look for review videos on youtube as a few people who got pre-production boards have posted examples of programming.
Unfortunately Cherry does not make a Cherry MX Clear RGB switch, however if you are into the while DIY scene, you can pretty much purchase this with browns, and buy Clear switches, and swap the stems. Just note that this will require a lot of time and patience as you will need to desolder every switch on the board, swap each stem, and then solder all the switches back on.
Cherry MX Clears don't come with RGB bases yet (it's not just a diodes above or below, they are specialized to even diffuse the light) above, so not possible as of this moment. I prefer clears, as well, but no luck with RGB.
