Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. I recommend most people look to passive noise isolating headphones like the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pros or Yamaha MT8s. Passive NC can offer around 16-35 db of noise reduction which is equal to or better than most ear protection people wear when shooting guns. It’s probably better than you expect if you haven’t tried to specifically find a noise isolating headphone before. For whatever your need, try a pair of ear protection with whatever ear buds you have. If that’s fine where noise is concerned then most noise isolating headphones will sound better than anything on this list and are cheaper.
