If they run this Group Buy here on MD then the management here must ship the Slingshots separately, meaning that if you are going to ship a single sling shot to Convict Town, then you must ship either the rubber band first followed by the frame.
That way the idiot Customs have no idea what the item is. MassDrop has to help those that are crushed down by illegal regimes that dismiss freedom like it's a used nappy on a daily basis.
Either MassDrop stands up for the down trodden or they actually do help out regimes who enslave their populations bent on control and power by any means. It's your choice MassDrop, choose whether to help corrupt and nasty nations or help free the enslaved?
It feels like no matter what the first option is it always wins these polls.
Some of us just like to support the US economy and small American businesses that are trying to stay afloat.

Why not, small businesses need more support these days.
Only downside for me and all my countrymen is that buying a sling shot and having it shipped to me here in Australia will get it confiscated as a weapon and probably charge me for importing that so-called "illegal" weapon.
Welcome to my place, one giant Prison Camp where less and less items are available to buy for us to use.
Being made in America has intrinsic value for those who believe in buying things made in America. They may do it out of patriotism or belief that it represents a certain level of quality. You could start a "Chilean Made Slingshots" or "Slingshots of Unspecified National Origin" poll if you don't hold such views.

Suspect they only commented because of their suspicion that American Made isn't any better than it being Made elsewhere.
Understandable but also be aware that this item is actually "hand-made" so it isn't produced in a quota of millions. So that would entail a quality build because the makers can't afford to make something faulty due to the internet being available to provide and easy outlet to complain or demolish their sales.
Have bought Hand made items from the US before and they are indeed high quality and last for ages. I live in Australia and we now have NO industries that make anything except the mining industry, that just keeps digging out all the raw materials for everyone else to make and use around the globe.
why "American Made"? is there some kind of intrinsic value of having it made in the US?
