I probably would have bought a k70 rgb if it came with clears or blues, but I seriously doubt they would do it now. Kind of odd that they think there's a lack of demand for blue switches, they're pretty popular in the enthusiast community.
i hope this works out, corsair is using mx blues for their strafe rgb now so it's possible they can really do a k70/k95 with blues since they already have the switches in house
Is everyone really so in love with the MX blues? In my experience they are really loud and not great for a work environment. I use MX browns right now and couldn't imagine typing much on the blues without driving someone insane (maybe myself).
I've been looking for a RGB cherry MX blue keyboard for awhile.. I hope we can get this to happen as the only thing that would be close to fitting this criteria is the Ducky Shine 5 and it hasn't been released yet.
Awesome. If this goes through though, I hope the blue switches won't have the qc issues they had before.... would suck to buy a limited production run item only to have it not work properly.
Corsair said they are discontinuing the MX blue RGB keyboards due to low yield and poor sales compared to Reds and Browns, I don't care about having them as a product in store, I'd just like them to make some for those who do really want them. Not that I know a whole lot about it but the keyboards have identical chassis don't they? I don't see how a limited run could hurt too much if all that changed on the keyboard was the switch (which should have the same dimensions as other switches).
