Yes this is an awesome machine
Hey everyone, I don't know if you guys noticed this but the Sprite is live on the site right now. I answered another poll with it, but you did indeed vote for this.
We got them to bundle it with the upgraded spindle, but you are welcome to remove that at checkout if the basic spindle is enough for you.

All prices were taken from manufacturer sites quite a while ago. I believe the prices has dropped already, and for sure we will be able to get a discount on mass buy. Let me know which one is cheaper on manufacturer site, I'll fix the price here if the item is suggested by me.
Well, I was interested in the Bigfoot but the discount did not motivate me to pull the trigger.
Much more interested in CNC than 3D as it is more useful for my purposes, though I appear to be in the minority. (3D printers seem to get the "cool" treatment from the media, but they are slow and sloppy and not very useful unless you are prototyping.)

I couldn't agree more with it CNC vs 3d printers. The last one on here thought was more expensive than from a retailer and that is the way a lot of items on massdrop are. They need to be considerably less than retail for me to consider it and not take 3 weeks to ship.
So I listed the Bigfoot from My DIY CNC last week and the drop didn't go through because not enough people were interested. I'm going to talk to them today about listing the Sprite, but I don't want to do that if you don't want this anymore. Let me know in this discussion section if you'd like me to go forward with this.
Will any of these be able to work copper or aluminum?
Thank you for creating this poll. I'll absolutely buy one if this happens!
