I hope we get more duel decks drop. The last 3 were Japanese version e_e. I hope the next one is English, because it's hard to explain/teach/play with a new player with another language.
Any updates? Or just waiting for release date?

Currently we are checking in with vendors on these but there are major hurdles to doing a drop with just the duel decks. Essentially, the MSRP is so low that once you add wholesale pricing and shipping fees, you are paying more for the box than if you were to buy it from your local game store.
Since that wouldn't do anyone any good, we are looking into whether we can do some sort of bundle that would give enough value for what you pay. There are several options but if you guys have a good idea of how you would like to see these bundled, please let us know.
Thanks!

If just the Elspeth Vs Kiora deck isn't able to get a discount, how about bundling it with the playmat and two different colored sleeves for each of the separate decks. Maybe the deckbox a also, but I don't know how much interest there is in the deck boxes, since they aren't as nice as some of the other deckbox drops around here.
I need all of these for my collection. Why do you make this so hard on me?
My only issue with the MTG and other hobby drops are that I am in Canada. They either aren't available or they are not a deal after shipping. Is there a way to change that? I'm just curious.

There are definitely ways to address them and we are constantly looking for ways to do it, but there are some major hurdles.
The first is that we respect the Wizards of the Coast retail policy that most of our vendors have agreed to. This says that sealed Magic: the Gathering cannot be sold to people outside of the US market.
The second hurdle is that Canadian shipping prices are generally horrendous. There are some drops where we have to turn off the Canadian shipping because there are clearly better options for our community members north of the border, and we certainly don't want to do anything that is against their best interest.
My understanding for why the rates are so bad is that the Canadian postal service averages out prices for everyone in the country so while it may be pretty cheap for us to get a 4 pound board game to Toronto or Vancouver, those customers have to foot the bill for the herculean efforts it takes to get the same package to someone in the Yukon.
My feeling is that as the Hobby Shop community grows, things will get progressively better. For starters, we are working on doing unsealed products that make sense that we are allowed to ship across borders without stepping on anyone's toes.
Another potential solution is to start working with Canadian vendors to support drops concurrently with our US-based vendors and ship to the Canadian participants. For this to happen, we need the size of our community to scale to the point that we could split our orders while still having enough participants to secure bulk pricing.
TL;DR: Don't worry Canada, we haven't forgotten about you, there are some major obstacles in making drops available to you, but we are constantly trying to improve the current state.

Thanks for the well reasoned response. I really appreciate it.
Wait so what's this about?
