We'd love to work with google and have this listed. Problem is, there are no margins in devices like this. The retail price is already so low that it cant go lower. In many cases with new devices like this, the company actually loses money on the device and tries to make it up some other way. Google might lose $50 on each phone but they care more about getting people to use android and spend money in the play store.

Do you seriously need the N5 to be dropped? It's a phone comparable to any other flagship on the market at half their price...

It still would be nice to have the community come together to get something that we all really want. Even though the price is already great, some people just can't afford it (Me.) This would definitely give me an incentive to get it from Massdrop and support them to get better drops.
