Yepp, haha. Thanks for this poll btw. Looks like the RHA MA750 has reached 200 votes. We should hopefully be seeing another drop in the near future. :)

I heard the UE900 this weekend. Holy cow, I want one now!
Some of these official responses take a while. Must be trying to make progress or sorting through other polls.

No hablo... language... desu...?
I tried Google Translating this and it didn't work.
Added the NuForce Primo 8s! Looks like quite a few people love them on Headfi
Wow, there's a lot of non-high-end IEMs in this poll. I think we should limit this to things that cost more than $750 MSRP. Anything below that really isn't high-end, at least in terms of price. I'm sorry, but $99 isn't high end at all; it's barely entry-level.

Out of curiosity, have you listened to half of the options on this list?
I guess my reasoning is a bit strange, but I went with whatever IEMs had massive critical acclaim, and cost about $100 or more. I'm using Head-Fi and TheHeadphoneList for references. All of the IEMs I added are well-regarded for the money. However, none of the IEMs I added dip below the $100 price point - which is pretty much the sweet spot for earphones. Beyond that, you see massive diminishing returns, with the exception of customs.

That's what I thought when I saw the initial suggestions of the poll despite the title. I understand your rationale, and yeah, customs...my country's customs has...[shamefully] organizational level corruption so they charge almost 100% for imports not to mention the $15 storage fee PER DAY. Last time I had something imported from price japan. I got them to lower the actual value of the product so that customs wouldn't destroy my wallet. Just a suggestion: Maybe you could have had a title like Giants and Giant Killers (IEMs only; start at 100 USD MSRP), or to be more frank High Price to Performance ratio IEMs
btw, love the Ritta prof. pic. I'm still waiting for my friend to give me the entire 2nd season
Wow...I guess the definition of high end was viewed loosely ...very loosely...Guys, just to get this out of the way. The definition of high-end here is the one that refers to price (let's say $500 and up) just to streamline all the suggestions. I do understand that some saw that there were low-end IEMs with "High-end competitive potential" (relatively speaking between comparative price-performance differences) or High-end materials, but let's face it. Sooner or later, this poll would've completely lost its point seeing as how many outliers are being added. Remember, no good piece of literature/fanfic would have been made if they didn't follow their theme so FOLLOW THE TITLE.

To be fair, a couple of people added the Sennheiser IE800s and HiFiMAN RE400s.

Yeah, I saw those, but I just wanted to clarify that it's gotten really disorganized (most are clearly in the mid-fi or low-fi, so I just wanted to raise awareness that we should probably streamline things to minimize confusion. Ummm...although the RE-400 or are just US$99 right? Do you mean RE-600s? The IE800s are right around the mark being close to at least a grand if I'm right. I can only count four IEMs that are above US$500 Westone W60, IE800, Shure SE846, and IE80. I don't mean to nitpick, just trying to help :)
Someone added the IE80s after I already included them. Oops.
