I would love to see a split keyboard (TKL is OK) set of PCBs, in either ortholinear or staggered layouts. The one could make something like the MS Sculp Keyboard or any split variant (e.g. Kinesis Freestyle 2). Basically, a left & right keypad pair more "rectangular" or conventional than an ErgoDox.
Recently I have wonder how hard could be made something very alike the the MS Sculp Keyboard (https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-us/products/keyboards/sculpt-ergonomic-desktop/l5v-00001) but with mechanical keys. How learn more about this?

Yeah actually! It's still a work in progress as I'm waiting on some acrylic parts to come in from the UK. I've also got plans for a 2.0, and need to get proper keycaps made, but for now this is my endgame :P

I'm really hoping we can make a PCB drop work, given the amount of customization available in a PCB. Our best bet if we can get enough votes is most likely either all ordering the default layout for the selected PCB or choosing one or two customizable options then leaving the rest as defaults.

Is there a open hardware or at least publicly posted layout for a TKL keyboard? I was actually considering picking up a project to design a PCB with LED holes to replace mine, but all the hole locations, switch locations, and even size is varied, only thing I have before me is the boards from keyboards I already have.
