I don't want to be 'that guy' but my Ryos lasted a week before the software started playing up to the extent that it rendered the keyboard practically unusable.

Just curious, since I'd love to have some thumb buttons but really don't like the Roccat: Are there any other mechs out there with thumb buttons besides customs and the Tex Yoda (?) I think it was?

There are many small time gaming peripherals companies out there that do that to there keyboards (usually cheaper too). A shining example would be the GAMDIAS HERMES.
It may be cheaper but in my opinion it's a much better keyboard in terms of bang for yer buck; have fun shopping :-p
