Alright guys, bad news, after a bunch of back and forth with Mendocino Therapeutics and a bunch of missed start dates, we won't be working with them anytime soon. He's only offering the community 50 units for the first drop and the next drop will be months from now. It's not fair to the community and it's not fair to keep stringing people along. I'm not going to speculate on what the hold up is.
I'm disabling the Lotus. Please pick another option and I'll gladly reach out to someone that doesn't give the community the run around.

PS. The Vapman is pretty incredible and we have access to it. I would highly suggest doing your own research on it and read the awesome reviews about the frugality of the Vapman and its build quality. Too bad for the MassDrop community they didn't have access to the 50 units Mendocino had available. Since the products are engineered with precision tools(from other suppliers) the issue with availability may have had more to do with meeting other distribution agreements and providing you at least 50 instead of wait listing you like Arizer Solo... After doing a podcast with the gentleman we learned the scale of his operation. I myself had the pleasure to participate in some of your Pre-Christmas specials. Those drops had limited quantities available after which if you missed out, you were unable to join. What is the difference in this case if the Lotus drop had a specified quantity? Sorry for seeming a little disappointed with your decision, since I have been creating message threads and generating interest for this vaporizer(which I own and enjoy).
PS I own a vapman too it is, ok... but not on the level in terms of vapor production and ease of use. Also I'm not willing to let others use my Vapman due to its delicate nature and wooden base which can be burned by novice users. Albeit very simple to design a Water Pipe Tool for my Vapman, the Lotus designed a WPA is a selling point for people who already own glass and want to enter the world of vaporizers.
It's a great product, don't get me wrong, but each time I contact them to do a drop, they keep pushing back saying that there is a delay in production for x, y, z excuses. We work with many small manufacturers like Brad from Tactical Keychains, Daniel from EZGO Wallets, and Marc from Firewood Vapes. We've never had this slow of a response for such a high demand product.
The limited drops for holiday sales were just clearing out inventory that we had, nothing more. Hence the 1 business day shipping for the limited quantities.
What's even more concerning is the shrinking inventory each time I call. I have a feeling he is using our platform for free publicity to get people who don't want to wait for the drop that will never happen. Talk is one thing, delivering the product is a whole other level of commitment. I wish Mendocino the best, but this back and forth for 50 units is not worth our time especially when he says the next drop is months from now.
I own the sherlock vapegenie...I only own it because i broke it using it lol. Just use it knowing that under a lot of heat, the stem gets weak and can break off. I taped mine using electrical tape and its worked for years. Ill probably have it as a back up vape forever. The pillow bag it came in takes great care of it too.

Just wanted to inform you that we have the Vapman currently up on the site. We tested it out and it's pretty great. One of the more efficient vapes we have tested. Lotus is still on the docket for January, but I also wanted to give you guys different price points and choices.

Good question, we haven't, but please create a poll of the different options and share it with this poll to see if there is a demand. I can relay those numbers and we might be able to offer it to you guys. I can't go to Mendocino Therapeutics and say, "one dude named Richy just wants the WPA w/out the pipe option." It much better when you have numbers when making a request like this.

Thanks everyone for voting, I had made another MD account under the name John1. ;-) Since then I've actually purchased the Lotus and love it for camping and just being independent of electricity.
