I can swear by my Philips Fidelio X1.
If the X2 is as good, then any buyers are in for a treat.
My previous pair were the Creative Aurvana Live heaphones, which themselves are amazing quality at amazing value, but the Fidelio X1's blew me away.
The X1 were more tame on the mids, and I sort of missed that, since that meant the melodic part of songs were a little quieter, but they made up for it with DAT CLARITY!
They're amazingly clear compared. I swear I noticed instruments in songs I had listened to 100 times that I had never heard before. And the SPACE! The sensation of position is just amazing. It has to be tried to be understood.
Would recommend to anyone prepared to pay for them. Mine were a refurb. Saved £50!
