the soundlink mini has a bit better sound because its more richer in bass and its more likely to be a home speaker..i prefer the ue boom more because of its longer lasting battery more suited to outdoor loudest in its class range,sound is only a bit inferior to the bose soundlink and a lot more cheaper than it...i hope the ue boom gets a drop
I listened to the SoundLink Mini and the sound quality is awesome for the size. For those considering it, it is pretty hefty so this isn't exactly like the clip-on-your-bag-and-go-anywhere kind of speaker ~ its use would be more deliberate but I think the sound quality makes up for that.
