Secrets/Sandals/Club Med are just ridiculously overpriced compared to similar resorts in the area.

Just throwing this out there, Secrets resorts south of Cancun are some odd my favorite vacations in my life. my wife and I just finished our honeymoon where we went to secrets Maroma Beach and Paradisus in playa del Carmen. both were excellent, but secrets is just a bit nicer.
Does anybody have any information on these resorts besides just the names?
