Linus showed one "highly regarded" liquid TIM recently, it didn't really perform much better than Noctua's TIM.
Just so everyone is aware of what they're looking at, Kryonaut currently holds the tile for best performing conventional non-liquid metal TIM. It even outperforms the fabled GELID Solutions GC-Extreme: the newest "recommend for every build" TIM.
To quote Overclocking.guide:
"After almost 6 years in lead of the market, GC-Extreme lost the battle against the new Kryonaut from Thermal Grizzly (talking about conventional paste)."
This stuff is very, very good and very, very hard to get a hold of.
