this bag looks nearly identical to the much more budget friendly Yukon Outfitters Alpha backpack that shows up on Woot pretty often for anywhere from $10 to $40....
main difference seems to be the 5.11 uses 1000d Nylon vs the Yukon's 600d Polyester. prob some differences in zippers/pockets/etc too id imagine.

i have bought 4 of the Yukons, given 2 away as gifts and they are amazing for the price. especially the 3 i picked up for $10 after paying $40 for the first one. i also have the Yukon Bug Out Bag that i use for a nice weekend float trip/camping/shooting/short vacay bag. theyre made very well in my opinion. i am not abusing them by any means, but they have held up quite nicely for the moderate usage.
i would say if you arent going to be thoroughly abusing the crap out of this thing just save some $$ and wait for Woot to have the Yukon Alpha for cheap again. they are also on amazon for like $60 most the time.
just my 2 cents.
radpoodleOh wow, that looks straight up a ripped off design. I have had a rush 24 for 6 years now if not more and this one looks identical to mine in every minute detail.
