I actually liked these a lot. First impression was bad because the dust cover was cheap and flimsy. But the base is really nice and sturdy and the stems fit snug but were not too big at all. fit my very tight PBT caps perfectly and were just a little loose on some of my more worn out ABS caps. The dust cover is actually excusable though because the box has windows so I slipped my trays back in the box and they store wonderfully. I saved a ton of space in my workshop cabinet thanks to these and my caps are not going to get scratched from rattling in the tupperwear boxes I was keeping them in. For how cheap these were I am satisfied actually. Just wish the barcode sticker was on the side of the box without the windows. Sure you're not going to keep your GMK sets on these but those sets should be on boards anyway. These trays were meant for 104 keys sets that you have lying around waiting for a new board. If youre the kind of Mech head that has Filcos and Leopolds and like changing between caps, this will be great for you. If you are an enthusiast, you will find a use for them. if you only build RAMA boards and buy all the kits for every GMK set out there, eh, probably not for you.

This is the cheapest option I've found, and the product shows. Not really high quality, but it gets the job done and the stackable feature is very nice, as I purchased five. The dust cover isn't worth much, but it's something I haven't seen on many other keycap storage solutions. My only main complaint is that the cover and stackable stems aren't tall enough to fit some keycap profiles, such as SA.

I bought ten of these. They are highly inconsistent - some fit too tight, while others are ridiculously loose. Like others said, the "dust cover" is a joke, being made of flimsy thin plastic typically used for blister packaging. It doesn't even stay connected to the keycap holder. I had to use clear packing tape on two sides to keep the cover from falling off. I'm pretty disappointed to say the least.

Jino74The stems in mine are a pretty loose fit overall too. It seems more like something a keycap set would ship in rather than something to maybe display your caps in.

Truly a piece of trash. The "dust cover" is flimsy and only sits precariously atop the plastic board where the keys are. Do not buy expecting this to work as a storage option.

Received mine yesterday. These are stackable if you remove the transparent cover, which means the lower layers are not protected from dust. If you stack them with the cover on, the top ones will slide around. The top cover is quite flimsy. There's nothing on the bottom that allows for easy mounting on a wall. The cross is a bit tight so care is needed when placing/removing your caps. The included cap puller is there for a reason :) I do not have any SA but I do have MT3, whose tallest row are too tall for this case when the cover is on. In short, there's still an unfilled market for:
  1. a display solution for a lot of caps or an entire set, for wall mounting (with transparent dust cover) or a display cabinet (with a stand to angle it for a better view)
  2. a display solution for tall caps
  3. a stackable, taggable storage system for entire sets so that all of them take the same amount of horizontal space
For 3), sturdy cardboard would be plenty but the ones I've found won't ship to my country.

This is a very bad product. They are very cheaply made and flimsy. The stems are too large and will likely stretch your expensive Keycaps. I am trying to return mine. I am disappointed in MassDrop on this one.

pilotxjThe stems are too large? Mine seem normal. That is too bad, I think the base is good for the price. The covers are horrible.

Echoing what other reviewers have said, these things aren't worth $10 each. Maybe $5 at best. The covers are super thin and flimsy, and they scratch too easily. The stems are too tight, to the point where I'm afraid they will damage the caps. And they don't play nice with SA caps. They will do for now, since they are a cheap option for showcasing/storage. But as objects, these things are overpriced junk.

Don't waste your time or money. They are worth maybe $2-$3 at most.

Stems are kinda hard to get on and off I would worry about abs and resin keycaps stored in these. Cover is a joke it's just cheap packaging plastic. Would not buy again. I stored my Eva Noctilucous pbt set in them and if it breaks a stem I will go berserk.

the dust cover is not plastic for an actual “product”. It thinner and more fragile than plastic from the milk just we put in the recycling bin. The cover doesnt “clip” in place either... so unless it is kept in its cardboard box it not really “storage”. Having seen this product in a store I would not have spent even 5$. Nothing more than a ripoff. Also, to add to the insult I was charged an additionnal 12$ upon receiving the package ... from unpaid duty.
