TheContraptionistMight be the case but that just looks way too bright for me and the bass rolls off too early.
I guess if you like bright headphones like Grados, you might enjoy these.

OfenlichtThe bass does not roll off. But the treble could be a little bit harsh sometimes. Amazing product. It's definitely a steal for such sound quality and build quality!!

OfenlichtThey are definitely on the brighter side and bass does roll off early. Roll off was one of my main criticisms when I reviewed them (https://b9scrambler.wordpress.com/2016/07/31/advanced-m4-i-have-the-energy/). Fair observation :)

TheContraptionistAs I said if you like Grados, these might be for you. Probably do reasonably well with rock and if the customer service is decent, 3 years warranty is also great.
