You know what would be a great idea;
If these wireless iems can still be connected via wires if we want wired listening experience when we're just at home and wireless when we're out
JyderFunny you should say that, cuz I was thinking the case for these looks exactly like the BGVP TWS buds I got from drop a couple months ago - and they have exactly that functionality: TWS or MMCX cable if the battery runs out and you want to keep listening. Whole reason I bought 'em and I have not ONCE plugged in the MMCX cable. Haven't used them much, though they sound pretty good with the foam eartips - the touch controls are...trying - and have taught me some valuable lessons. Firstly, actual, tactile operation buttons are the ONLY way to go for me. I frequently use earphones at work, wear gloves a lot, operate loud tools and also have to interface with other people, and I tired of trying to get my glove off all the time to either pause music or answer a call, and I keep turning them off by accident while holding one in my hand so I can hear a coworker or customer...yeah, no. I'll listen with them when I'm home and don't plan on having to pause or talk, because they do sound pretty good. Secondly, every time I think the tech amalgamation will be game changing, my inner 8 year old Star Trek geek just gives me the look that says: WTF is wrong with you? - and he is right: the whole point of TWS is...TWS! I wouldn't likely use the cable even if I did like the controls - I already have wired IEM's that I like the sound of. As for battery life, my unsolicited advice is to find a pair that you like the fit and sound and price of, and buy a second pair. Preferably, in a different color...
JyderIf you really want that there are plenty out there that do that. They would have to redesign the buds and case. They would then cost the $80.00, or more.
I'm quite disappointed with QC, not sure how but my left earbud is dead on arrival, when placed in the charging case only the right ear bud shows a red led for charging, the left one fails to charge. I'm currently emailing drop to hopefully get it resolved.
quincy.hoHello, I am sorry to hear about it. Did you make sure that the sticker on that covered the charging pins on the earbuds are taken off? Also, sometimes, you might need to close the case to ensure that the buds are aligned properly and it will start to charge.
In any case, do drop us an email at contact@alphandelta.com and we will see what we can do to remedy it.
teosjI've just sent an email to A&D, I've also contacted Drop about the issue. I've left it charging for awhile with the case closed but the left earbud is still dead.
