Knife was larger then I was expecting in the images, and I wont knock any stars off for the orange sheath, but it does show through some lighter clothing so if I had a second go on this product I would have to go with black for the sheath. The 4 stars is due to, as others have said, a kind of awkward holding angle/position for this knife. Its not something your going to sit down a whittle a stick with, but for self defense or a quick cutting job it would work just fine.

Nice design language
I personally can't handle this knife comfortably, but I bought this knife purely for the knife's design and for that I am happy with this purchase and can still recommend it.

Ok for what it is
Got this as an ultra light fixed blade option for fast and light trips in the backcountry. It'll work for small camp chores and could replace my usual folder. Fits well in my medium female hands and seems comfortable - time and use will tell. Unfortunately, quality control on this knife was lacking - came with a dinged tip. Thanks to DROP for offering a refund, but I decided to spend some time with it on my stones and was able to fix the tip. Also got it much sharper. The steel does seem pretty soft - I'm wondering how this edge will hold.

Been looking for a lightweight, scale less neck knife and when I saw this design and price, I pulled the trigger. There are a lot of this style, barebones, skeletonized knives but most are useless having a lack of length to gain enough leverage to cut with any effective force but this has the perfect compromise between being compact and having enough grip to really use, within reason of course. The knifes design is there for all to see, I don't get why anyone would complain about what is obvious. Don't buy it then. This is not an edc knife you use primarily, it's something you wear and happen to have just in case. It's also good for security purposes as most bad guys would not expect one to carry a knife in this fashion. The break away chain and thin yet effective sheath combine for a great, easy wearing necker for cheap.

read a couple negative reviews, mostly how this knife is hard to hold & use. I haven't had that problem. I think that's because I wasn't expecting to use this other than the way it was intended. This isn't a box-cutting, letter-opening, fishing line-trimming EDC knife. This is a "I need something sharp in my hand now" knife. In my opinion that's what a neck knife is for. I'm not whittling with it, or cutting vegetables. I have it close at-hand where I don't have to dig in a pocket or (!) use two hands to get it open. In the end I opted to not use the included chain, but a belt clip I took from another knife.

Good knife that's just a bit awkward too use
This is a solid knife. Eye-catching design and nice finish. Definitely manufactured well. Ergos are definitely strange, not the best, but works for my hands. Not the greatest slicer, which I knew prior to purchase because of the thickness of the blade stock and depth. Everything else is good, leaving me at a solid 4 stars.

Good quality - exactly as described. Great value!
Not sure I will use the included chain, but not a big deal since the holes on the cover will allow me to use this as a boot knife.
