The Aragon Divemaster II is a robust mechanical watch that makes an impression on the wrist. Available in 45- and 50-millimeter sizes, it’s built like a tank with a thick stainless steel case and 200 meters of water resistance Read More
It's a TANK of a watch. Very large, very thick, and very heavy. The blue abalone dial is stunning, and the overall design is cohesive and more tasteful than most in this size range. It's easier to read than I thought it would be based on the pictures (looks busy to me in pics, but not at all bad in person). Decent build quality, with everything lining up as it should. Only real quibbles from me are the almost nonexistent lume and the just okay bracelet. But for what I paid...yeah, I'm just being unreasonably picky! Tough, well-made, amazing dial, terrible lume, and a seiko NH35. What more could you want?
Have been watching (no pun intended) the various offerings here and elsewhere for the Abalone face watches. Picked up this one from Drop. One of my several Aragon watches. So pleased with the Aragon brand that buying this was a no brainer decision. Love the look . The watch is certainly a great looking piece with the eye catching face and it keeps time well. It is within 5 seconds a day to the time.gov when its turn in the rotation comes up. Probably will never use it diving since my Zodiac Super Sea Wolf is still in service but I'm certain it would perform admirably.
Purchased the 45mm abalone and could not be any happier. Watch case is finished very well with no rough edges. Watch bracelet is very sturdy and does not feel cheap at all. NH35 movement is as expected. The Lume is very good for a watch in this price range. I can easily see myself buying another one if this drop becomes available again.
I bought this abalone 45mm and fit great on my wrist. It’s a bit weigh when I put it but it’s ok. Dial is really cool and can’t read what’s on it from a distance. Though there’s cosmetic issue on the bracelet but its totally hidden. I like the dial when it glows in the dark. Overall it’s not one of the best watches out there but can’t take off your eyes when you wear it. And the price is a big plus as well.
and ain't these special ? looks increadibly smart , another winner by Aragon ! , as said a little hard to read , but if you look at the right angle its OK , this is my second Aragon now and for $140 you can't beat it !
UPDATE: Watch lasted less than a week. Now, only the second time to wear it, watch will not keep time. Runs for an hour or so and stops. Fully wound manually to be sure but it will not stay running. Not impressed. Emailed Drop CS to arrange for return.
