The latest in Aragon’s lineup of Divemasters (number three if you’re counting at home), has a little more to it than your average Divemaster. Featuring a carbon fiber–textured dial and chunky lumed hands, it’s a stunner, to be sure Read More
It arrived yesterday in good condition after 8 weeks from New York to Perth Australia and I am amazed as to the build quality of these Aragon divers , this is my 4th and the quality is identical with all 3 so their QC must be very good ! a nod to Aragon . Easily as good as my 4 Seiko divers but at 1/4 the price ?? go figure ..
The watch is the 45mm size so it wears well but as usual wrist shots make the watches look bigger and this is no exception .
Bezel action and crown are perfect , smooth and precise with zero play or backlash in the bezel .
Dial is awesome ! kinda carbon fiber looking that catches the light beautifully , and on that the dial is super easy to read with great contrast and just the right amount of red go fast in there ,,, really smart looking dial .
Bracelet is good and solid just like my other 2 Aragon divers so no complaints there , my 4th Aragon diver the DF47 came on a nice rubber strap .
I also really like the crown at 9pm , my first and it looks great , different ,,,, but great .
All in all a great watch and for $133 delivered it's another winner by Drop ,, thanks for an awesome watch guy's .
This is a nice looking watch, so much so that I have received compliments from complete strangers. However, as a time piece it is not that great. In my usage, it runs slow by about two minutes a week. In the pre-cellphone era I would have complained about being off two minutes a *month* but these days it isn’t that hard to check the watch against a cellphone and adjust the watch as needed.
