It's a sharp looking watch and I don't have a tritium dial in my rotation but the 16mm thickness seems a bit much for a quartz watch.

wonbulIt’s because it’s built like a brick shithouse. I have the black dial version and it’s just a tough watch.

Does this have a perpetual calendar? I'm guessing since that wasn't mentioned in the description, it's not a feature.

What about Battery change?
UUQ_65Hi UUQ_65, the watch has an easy to replace battery. Most local jewelers or watch service centers can handle it very quickly.

I bought the black dial version on the first drop of the ArmourLite kits - yes, this is a brick of a watch, but I have no doubt that it could take a direct hit from a MOAB and not miss a tick. The wearer may be widely distributed protoplasm, but I can't think of anything that is going to stop this watch. I wear mine 24/7, in the shower, swimming, kayaking, it hasn't fogged up or anything. It is bigger and thicker than I'm used to, but it is VERY easy to read without the Ahem - reading glasses. You can reduce some of the thickness by installing a BluShark AlphaPremier strap - when I first got mine, I thought it was too lightweight and too thin to support this watch without crumpling at the lugs, but it hasn't after three months of wear. This is a great price on a great go-to-war watch! Yes, you won't be able to fasten the French cuffs on your dress shirts around it, but you have other watches for that mode -

Is there a smaller version of this watch available with more or less the same shatterproof crystal? 45mm is ludicrous as a size for everyday use.

If this had an automatic movement, I’d buy it at 2x the price. But I’m a bit of a doctrinaire purist about that, so I’ll have to keep my eyes open.

jamesdmeacham3Yeah, would love Automatic and T100 trits. If they could upgrade those two, I sure would love buying this watch. Maybe they could make a Limited Edition Run with this upgraded version? I'm pretty sure it would be selling good. ....Oh, and maybe alarm.:)

Seems there's not many reviews (nor "real" pics, at least per quick google search) on this one. But decided to order just to experience the quality first hand. Will probably end up flipping it lol. Still...
