Just changed the battery in my ArmourLite, and a bunch of case material came out on the screw threads. Doesn't bode well for future changes or waterproofness.
Dropkick47The material that came out is the o-ring which must be replaced whenever you remove the case back. Without the o-ring, your watch is not water resistant. We would highly suggest bringing it to a repair shop to get a new o-ring and have it pressure tested.

If all companies/manufacturers were as engaging as Armourlite here, the Massdrop experience would be much better!
mbofieThank you! We really appreciate the opportunity Massdrop provides us to be able to directly communicate with the Massdrop community and answer questions/concerns as quickly as possible. We consider it one of the most valuable aspects of the Massdrop experience. It's a pity that other companies/manufacturers don't see it that way.

Never ordered off Massdrop before, but this product has been on my watchlist for a few years. Will i have to pay customs/VAT if i buy it from Denmark?

I bought the ISO401 about three months ago, and it's become my favorite wrist watch. And I have a LOT of wrist watches, and over the years have owned even more. Normally, I wouldn't dream of preferring a quartz over a mechanical, mainly on principle. Even so, this is the watch I now wear every day. Frankly, I'm not crazy about the red accents on the dial, and would have preferred the case to be all black. But I've learned to accept the dial's style; I can see the time instantly, without having to stare at the hands. Everything lines up properly. And it really is bright, much brighter than my T25 watches, and helps visibility even in only slightly dark conditions. At night it's practically a source of light all by itself. The strap is very comfortable, and long. Accuracy is virtually perfect: about half a second in three months. None of the mechanical wrist watches and pocket watches I own even come close--not even a couple of Bulova Precisionist movement watches I own. The watch also seems to be very durable, and my experience dealing with ArmourLite has been very positive in every way. All things considered, I would definitely buy another one.

Why would I pay $400 to buy a quartz watch when there are much better options for the same price/cheaper? A sarb017 is $360 for example, and you can also buy a khaki king for around the same price.

There goes my new pc money. I've got a really nice Tissot but need a more casual watch that can take some dirt and abuse.

Is that the 10 year lithium battery or is it a 54 months battery. Conflicting info!
MMMMMHi MMMMM, we are working on getting that mistake fixed on the drop page. Since it's a chronograph movement, it's a 54-months battery, not the 10-year. The 10-year is found on our date-only Valor Series models.
