This is an excellent chair, especially for the price. I had an old office chair before that had a rocking function, but the fact that it could not lock made sitting an working with good posture difficult. Build quality is great and the plush leather really works for me because it doesn't get too hot even when my space heater ass is sitting in it for hours. I would agree with the reviewer below that a metal base would be preferable, but we'll just have to see how the plastic holds up. The rocking lock function, the up and down function, the 4d adjustable arm-wrests all make this a super premium, and the added pillow and lumbar support are a great value for anyone that needs them. The shaped pillow on the Vernazza is infinitely better than pillows on other chairs that seem like an after thought. I bought this on a whim because I wanted a chair that matched my black and red gaming setup, and I am constantly window shopping on Massdrop, but I have been pleasantly surprised by my experience. The shaped pillow on the Vernazza is also infinitely better than pillows on other chairs that seem like an after thought. The extra adjustability and build quality is not at all a gimmick, it makes a real difference in comfort. Don't let your mom, wife, boyfriend, friend, shaman or doctor tell you otherwise, this chair is great and when this drop comes back pick it up. Trust me, trust yourself, and most importantly, trust Arozzi, because they are Swedes.

I was pleasantly surprised with this chair. I've had executive leather chairs in the past that caused my back to sweat if I sat in them for prolonged periods of time, but this chair is actually breathable. I also like that it's a bit wider set which makes it more comfortable, and I'm not even a heavy set guy (6'2 185lbs).
The amount of adjustable options to have the seat part lean forward or back and the back part can go from all the way down to so forward that it actually crushes you a bit, so you can absolutely find a comfortable spot somewhere in the middle.
Also good quality, I don't see any issues with the sturdiness of the chair. The ONLY downfall I can find is that it's extremely heavy and ships in a somewhat easily damageable box, so the back of my chair had a bent frame when it arrived. However, Arozzi immediately remedied the situation and sent me a replacement part with no questions asked.
Very happy I went with this purchase.

Arozzi sent replacement wheels and legs when the chair didn't arrive with any. They came here 3 days later so that's fine with me. The chair is comfortable and does everything I want it to.

Had this chair for a while now and everything about it is amazing. Being 6'3 260 most office chairs from big box stores and most standard chairs elsewhere are very uncomfortable. The Vernazza is a dream to sit in. The reclining feature is great, the width of the seat and back rest is more than sufficient, and this chair feels rock solid. I have already recommended this chair to friends of mine and I know I will love it for years to come!

2 Year Returning Review, Mechanical Failure and Flawed base design
Got this chair in 2017, it is now past the 2 year warranty and the chair has begun to fail in different ways. The base of the chair where the Plastic and piston meets will overtime begin to slip thru as the chair is sat on, this causes the piston to become lower than the wheels slightly giving the chair a wobble. The chair tilt lock after some time failed to unlock, upon investigation of the internals major stripping of teeth on the lock was noticed. Now this is after 2 years of wear but it seems a little early for failure. The chair is only comfortable with the pillows, without them its flat and empty of padding, the elastic on the headpillow is a bad choice in design as it will quickly stretch out and lose all ability to keep the pillow towards the top of the chair, the lumbar pillow has an adjustable strap which would negate that issue to begin with if also used on the headpillow. the lumbar isnt the most comfortable but Ive been using it without complaint but Im sure there could be some improvement. The armrests are okay, they can be a little uncomfortable and compared to some other designs ive looked at they lack the left right slide adjustment, aswell as the settings are easy to slide out of place with no lock mechanism except up and down. At the price point the chair is not too bad, but spending a bit more to avoid some of these flaws ive noticed for a different model or make may be a better deal. The base should be made of metal, the fact that it isn't makes this chair guaranteed to break over time, after buying a different gaming chair from a different manufacturer all i can recommend is to avoid arozzi chairs unless they redesign these critical flaws.

CrosshairsDamn.. same thing is happening to my chair. It actually tore up the carpet in my last apartment before I fully realized what was happening. I had to mash the piston back through with a mallet and add some material wedged in to keep it from slipping back. It's not long from going into the dumpster though. The leather is shit quality as well. These chairs suck.

XevenI left a hole in the carpet and frayed the area around, this chair is now my extra with a tennis ball on the piston, gives it a huge wobble but atleast the floor is fine. Definitely had to replace it though, not a good investment

Massdrop had several Arozzi chairs available when i ordered mine. There wasn't much to distinguish one chair from the next so I got the one that the the 'must deluxe' of the bunch, just a bit more expensive.
Turns out what makes mine the most expensive model is its the 'Big and Tall' model, this is the second boldest line on the box it came in. Why wouldn't mass drop mention this in the overview??? now I've got a chair that requires 2 pillows strapped to it to be any use to me. I'm about 5'9" and 140 lb, 2 of me could sit in this chair
The chair isn't that bad, build quality is OK and to load bearing parts are very beefy. I'm mostly upset that Massdrop wasn't clear who this chair was designed for. Were they afraid of shaming their costumers with a label like 'big and tall'? How do you think I feel about buying men's small, I don't care because I got over it

boortmisersend me your chair short guy
boortmiserWe have 2 different ladies in the office who are 5'6" and 5'7" and both under 140lbs who absolutely love this chair. Although they do have some extra room in the seat, they love the ergonomic support and pure cold molded foam of this chair which allows them to sit in it all day long without any back or neck pain.

It's hard to say exactly, I've had the chair for about two years and I think I started noticing noises after ~6 months and the lift mechanism stopped working a month or two after that. So within the first year I'd say. I'm on the chair for 2-4 hours a day, 4-5 days a week, and I'm 6ft 200lb; maybe others have had better luck?
named000000Just curious, when you started having issues 6&7 months in with noises and then the lift mechanism did you contact us? Also, if you are within your two year warranty period I would like the opportunity to right the wrong here. In fact, if you were within your 2 year warranty 21 weeks ago when writing your review of the product I will make sure you are taken care of! Just mention my name in the email to our service team. Contact them at service@arozzi.com

I edited my review after having the chair for almost a couple of years... I am a very large guy. I have issues finding chairs that can handle my weight and height. I got this chair off Massdrop a little over a year ago. So far I have had no issues with the chair itself. The pillows it comes with are pretty cheap. The neck one just constantly slides up since it has nothing to stop it, and the lumbar pillow is just eh. I have replaced them with other pillows. The chair itself is 5 stars, but because of the crappy pillows I can only give it 4 stars. Soooo, now the bad news a couple of years of having the chair.... The gas cylinder died. It goes to full when I stand up and goes flat when I sit in the chair. I contacted customer support about the issue and they quickly sent me a "base replacement". I was like sweet, till I opened the box. I was greeted with a broken base. I was like OK maybe it's because it is a refurb or something and I only care about the gas cylinder..... I got 2 casters and the part that attaches to the chair. The part I needed which was the air cylinder was missing. I contacted customer support again with pictures of what I got. They are not responding. I wanted to love this chair, but it seems they don't care about the customer after it is purchased.

I moved in my chair... and the damn wheel broke off and i fell face first in to my desk.... as you can see in the picture this is very soft plastic and just snapped. you can even see where it skid when i went down. Now i have a head ach, probably a black eye soon, and nothing to sit in.... for my first gaming chair purchase, i am EXTREMELY disappointed in this....

CreativextentI noticed my base was cracked like most of the recent reviews, so I contacted support. They also sent me a base that looks exactly like this. Not sure how this is going to hold up compared to the old one.....

Reeffbest bet is to call them on the phone. and ask to talk to the tech who is helping you. explain to them you need a metal base. They sent me one the other day and it will be here on Thursday. I will let you know how it goes.

Ive had the chair for over a year now and have day no major issues. Feels great and was a great investment.
My only minor issue and really just a nit pick is the arm rests make noise when I sit down and put pressure on them.
