It looks like this shares a fair amount with the Traxxas Slash - is there a relationship, other than appearance?

Most short course vehicles look similar due to their body shape, this truck is not related to Traxxas at all. The Arrma Fury has the same speed (brushed 540 motor), durability, waterproofing and parts availability as the Traxxas Slash but we are offering a LiPo with the Fury as well.
