When is this thing gonna shipp
I Googled it and Artisan Cutlery isn't even selling it for as high as this. It's a gimmick device, more than anything else, but I've wasted $70 on drummer stuff than this.

For the thousand times here (if you go ahead and read other replies!), this is the Titanium handle! It's the G-10 one which is the cheaper one!!

Thanks for the info. I guessing I'm the first person to point this out to you, but the page provides how many discussions there are - 48 prior to mind. It also provides a word search function, and prior to you mentioning titanium - it was mentioned twice. Not quite a 1000, or even 100, or even 10, it wasn't even halfway to five. Again, thank you for the info, but next time - maybe a little less dramatween.
I mean, if there were ever a more appropriate use for this .gif, I don't fucking know what is.

small minds ask why great minds ask "how quickly do you think i can get arrested with this thing?"
Not sure what the fuss is all about. "This is the ideal tool, if you want to look like one, when opening your beer" seems to be the extent of the advertising video. Is it going to function as a portable hex wrench? What are the cutout sizes? Metric or imperial? And how much harder is it than the bolts it'll strip the heads of, or be ruined by? My suspicion is that I don't care. It's obviously for people who pretend they were Rangers and have disposable income. Neither applies to me.
Put a blade on it and I'd buy it but if they did put a blade on it, they probably couldn't sell it outside of Asia. The D/A is cool but I have no need for a trainer disguised as a tool So, it's of no use to me.

$125 for a switchblade bottle opener seems reasonable to me. On the other hand, I'd hate to be waiting at the DMV next to a recovering fidget spinner who just ran out of Ritalin and brought one of these to entertain himself while waiting for his number to be called.
I am usually happy to see what Artisan will come out with next and they seem to strive for quality , but this i don't get $125.00 for a "8 cr" blade? 13? Or14? A tool i can't see being very functional an awkward flat head screwdriver / pry bar an even more awkward wrench ( hope there arent any obstructions around that nut or bolt head) a ruler your going to measure to confirm its scale and what i see as the most practical a bottle opener ,this is a novelty multi bar with a ridiculously expensive handle , and if you have flipped butterfly knives you know these squared handles even make that difficult , i see this as winding up in a drawer , tackle box , or glove compartment ,but maby that's just me.
I would go for the G10 version also.
It doesn't have a pocket clip which has been stated! I love the idea but it's too expensive! If the regular G10 one had a pocket clip with a price tag around$40, I would definitely go for it!
FWIW, Blade HQ sold out of these pretty quick...
I would much prefer the G10 version. $125 with titanium handles is far too expensive for a multi tool. However, even the G10 version is a little pricey...

The images are photoshopped as can be. If you watch the video, the handles don't align when the "blade" is out like that. If your images can't be honest, then you're hiding something. That's a big "yeah....NOOOOO!" from me there, bud.
Pandemos
The open configuration is from the automatic function, the handle stays the same while using that function from that the video shows.
this thing is actually quite awesome, and I would carry one no questions asked, and would come in handy, but at $125, thats just too pricey for the common man. its a shame, I would love one of these.
Available $30 cheaper from manufacturer

That's for the steel version, I thought the same thing. This one is the titanium which is $199.99

could you give me a link?
It has a name. It's a balisong. Not a "Artisan Cutlery Kinetic Tool" lol

you clearly haven't actually seen the tool in action. go look it up and see why it actually isn't just a balisong
AliedChiv
You're wrong. A balisong is a knife and has a sharpened blade. This doesn't have that, therefore it's not a balisong. Edit: also, "Artisan Cutlery" is the brand name not description of the item, so you're misinformed about that too.

An 8cr prybar for $125? Where do I sign up?
AT LAST! THE PERFECT TOOL FOR ATTACKING TRANSFORMERS!!!
That's a mighty expensive fidget spinner..
Super fun concept for a fidgety toy. Impressed by the combination butterfly and auto, that's neat...... But that price for something that has so few practical applications? Be honest, 99% of its use is only ever going to be as a party favor for opening beers
If I could put a blade on it, then hell yeah! But not with tools I'll never use...
Hmm maybe a little pricey for the tools it has to offer?

I like the cut of your jib.
Make America Think Again
I've held one before and they're a cool concept but not functional at all. If this were about half the thickness which should really help the weight and would make this actually flip well (BTW this thing breaks your knuckles lol). The automatic/butterfly concept is pretty cool just executed poorly.

$125 for something that'll be mediocre as a flipper and mediocre as a tool? Pass.

B-b-b-but it flips!
