Can anyone explain if this would be a better buy vs Schiit modi/magni combo?

My opinion is that the T1 offers tube rolling, which gives it the edge. The Modi/Magni combo may have a more polished, detailed sound compared to many tubes, but I personally love my T1 with an Amperex 7308, and upgraded ELNA Silmic II capacitors. The NOS tube cost around $50 on ebay, and the capacitors cost $25 from DigiKey, plus an hour to install.
Also, synergy with headphones/gear is also something to consider. I listen with Sennheiser HD 650's, and the mids are fantastic with this setup.
