6 months ago I purchased this watch. 6 months today one of the illumination marker on the hands came off and is now stuck in between 2 other hands. Anyone faced this problem before? Does the watch home with warranty please?
Anyone get this drop and the warranty cards serial number did not match watch? I did, and I’m looking for the cards that matches my watch. Massdrop informed me they were probably switched during packaging And another customer has my warranty cards. I say “cards” because the box has two different cards inside, each with a serial number.
Peter.charrondid yours come with date of purchase stamped? i got the correct one. but the 24 hour bezel rotates faster than it is supposed to. but no warranty coverage apparently.... last time i buy something off MD without warranty...
I wish it was GMT version and not that rotating disk gimmick. Really, warrants this watch being 3K retail? I feel 1100 USD is a perfect retail for this piece. Watch market is in a bubble due to all i-gents.
During the last drop I bought the chronograph version in Black on brown croc. deployant strap for less than $100 more at a competitor (Shopworn). For what it's worth, I've been really happy with the watch and since purchase it's become a frequent wear in rotation.
augustinusI should have been more specific...I purchased it elsewhere. To the best of my knowledge MD hasn't dropped the chronograph version of this watch. That said, to give a little info on the watch in question it is not a COSC certified chronometer unlike this one (I decided that I would rather have a chronograph than COSC papers, since I use one fairly frequently and most decent watches maintain consistency very near or exceeding COSC in my experience). I have modified the post you replied to in order to reflect this information and clarify my statement.
Grey market, no warranty.
Both models were available for $1050 at another US discount website. MD price may be good for those not fortunate enough to live in a country with free market economy.
Immediately replaced the “genuine alligator“ light brown strap with nylon leather backed strap with deployment clasp from Watch Ghecko. Stock Ball strap was just the wrong color and looked too shiny.
