Same situation as one of the reviewers below. My headphones are non-functioning. They also arrived without earbuds—though this seems to be the case for many orders. I charged the headphones in the case overnight. The case’s indicator went from a yellow light to a green one, so I assumed they were fully charged. Upon opening the case fully, I opened the B&O app and searched for the headset within it, as well as on my phone and PC’s Bluetooth list. Nothing to be found. I took the right ear piece out and tapped the right ear piece as directed, and when that didn’t work I put it back in the case and pressed each ear piece individually, and then finally pressed and held both ear pieces simultaneously; I did these actions several times inside and outside the case, while using a QI charger, and while plugged in. Nothing changed. No device found/detected. I’ve spoken with a rep from Drop who is looking into the issue, as it seems this isn’t an isolated problem. I hope to be able to get this issue rectified so I can provide a better and thorough review of the refurbished beoplays (so far this refurb is a dud) UPDATE: Drop happened to be great in helping me resolve the issue. They ended up sending me another set, but lo and behold, the same issue came with the additional pair. At least this one had some ear tips, which the last didn’t. They felt like 3rd party ear foams though, so meh. I decided to let both sets charge with only 1 ear piece in them (at this point I was willing to try anything to get them to work and turn on) and after a good 6-8 hours I was able to get 1 of the headphones to turn on from each of the pairs—funny enough it was the left ear piece for one, and the right for the other. The other 2 ear pieces never held an iota of a charge. Unfortunately the two working headphones would not pair individually—or rather they would not separate from their packaged partner, as if they were made as a slave and master combo (even if I put both working headphones in one case, and did a reset, they would always register separately with their original serial number). This is a bit worrisome, since this could mean there’s no way to replace a dead headphone. Since I was unable to get either pair to work as intended, I messaged DROP and they just had me return both pairs for a return of my investment. I was really hoping to have a pair of these B&O at this price point, but whoever the vendor is (I’m assuming it’s the same vendor that is selling the refurbs elsewhere), did absolutely zero quality control, as did DROP—but DROP, you sold it to us, you should know better. All in all these headphones were a complete bust; DROP should have checked the lot, to make sure they worked (since all of them were out of warranty), but at least they helped me get a refund, which from a customer side, is a plus. If you have a busted pair, reach out to DROP and request your refund.

Now only ONE earbuds works. The right one id DEAD!!! WTF??? I want a refund!!! I sent the first pair back for a refund and you sent another piece of crap!!

My B&O Beoplay EQ earphones arrived today. They were sans ear tips which Drop.Com's customer service assures me are on their way, just separately. Not being known for patience, I installed a spare set of Dekoni Bulletz earphone tips I had stored. I charged these earphones up and now they are paired and updated using B&O's clunky phone app. I am listening now. The second song on my mix was Miles Davis' All Blues. I actually heard one piano note in support of the solos that was off! I had never noticed that before. Yah, they are just that good!!! At $400 USD, these were not on my radar. At $149 USD, I now have them. In combination with the Dekoni Bulletz tips, this is an amazing sound! I may listen to this mix until they run out of power. I am very satisfied. I cannot wait to see if the stock tips are any better. Hard to imagine that being possible. These are a real improvement over my Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds which are nice but with a muddier midrange.

FYI - these are a No Returns item. It took me awhile to squeeze an answer about this from their support staff. But if the headphones have issues or you don't like them, you're stuck and will have to reach out to the manufacturer to try to get any support. Thought I'd try to save others the time trying to get a straight answer from support.

I too purchased these ear phones only came with foam ear tips and the right one won't convince, I called bang and 0lufsen support and we tried every imaginable way to get it to connect without any luck. They say they will replace them under the warranty but still waiting to receive that information through a retailer here in Canada apparently their online service for that is down for Canadian customers, I see I'm not the only one with issues with these I hope I can get this straightened out I would love a working pair it sounds like they sound great

Apm44mRecieved a new set of b/o ex ear buds and they are very good, only thing is couple of weeks later I recieved a bill from Fedex looking for 35 dollars for shipping from Miami to ontario Canada sheeesh only thing is the new ear buds are really expensive so I guess paying the delivery wasn't to bad considering

My stuff is on same “Trouble” situation. No silicon tips, not closed box(with open status), and the right one is not working(no led is on). Is this the real situation under the “DROP”?

Got mine this last week — also only came with the foam tips:( Was able to charge the case after firm pushing in the usb-c cable into the charging port. Worked fine until I updated the firmware to the v6.2.6 and now left earbud keeps on disconnecting. Tried to reset and disconnecting but didn’t resolve the issue. Volume is also too low compared to before the update…
