BTW for anyone interested, the wide angle lens will accept 49mm filters.
hmmmm...How would this work with the new iPhone 7plus (dual lens)...or would it?
Expecting mine today ;-)

you would not be able to put two lenses to a normal camera anyways.

Works with LG G4?
TearsOfWar
per Massdrop...Compatible with virtually any smartphone.
TearsOfWar
Yes, the LG G4 is compatible with the Beastgrip Pro.
Couldn't help but notice this in the Description:
" Note: This drop is for the Beastgrip Pro. At checkout, you’ll have the option to add a DOF adapter (+$99), Wide-angle lens and Fisheye lens (+$45) or all three(+$145)"
So it's a dollar more to go with the full package? That seems very odd to me. At worst, it should be $144, but one would think the full package would bring at least a small discount. Weird.
BlueTom
Great Catch and yes the cost for all three is +$144 not +$145. Thanks for pointing that out and letting us know.
Cheers!
@Sean.at.Beastgrip.com , Any chance we could look at getting this drop going again? 115 requests is a significant number.

Hi @m4rkbr0wn,
Yes, they should have these 'shoulder rigs' anywhere that sells photography gear., such as B&H, Amazon, etc.
@Sean.at.Beastgrip.com Is there a place that offers stabilizers for the Beastgrip notably the shoulder one shown on your website under the "VERSATILE" section?
Is there a version for samsung galaxys/note? or is this just an iPhone thing?
munji
@munji Great question! It works with all smartphones, including Samsung.
The design is fully adjustable and modular, so you can even use it with older and newer versions of whichever phone you have, big or small.
So is the DOF adapter compatible with Nikon/Canon? I apologize, I'm sure the answer is in the videos on the page, but I'm at work and youtube is blocked.

That's awesome, thank you. I've been a Nikon shooter all my life and I'm not trying to switch now haha. I'd love to use my old bladed aperture catch lenses on my phone.
RidevaDemocritus
@RidevaDemocritus We love Nikon too - our favorite lens to use with the DOF adapter, so far, is this old Nikon 55mm f1.2 lens. We found it on eBay for about $250 and it outshines a ton of more expensive lenses in bokeh, separation, and build quality.
@Sean.at.Beastgrip.com,
This seems like something that would be a great accessory for the LG G5 that is being launched due to the phones modular accessories including the optional camera attachment, but would this mount system work with that phone setup?
TOSaunders
@TOSaunders Yes, it should work great with the G5! The G5 will have two cameras - one for standard shots and one for wide angle shots - so you'll just need to move the lens mount to place the lens over the camera you want to use. Also, you have the option of removing the lens mount assembly entirely - it only takes two seconds - to allow both cameras to be shown at all times.
so, how well would the dof adapter work with say the 2.8 70-200 or 2.8 300 lenses from Canon :) - Thanks
gabyphoto
@gabyphoto These lenses would work great with the DOF adapter - i just recommend using some sort of rail system to handle the weight - as you would on any camera - to support the weight of a lens this large.
Hi Everyone,
My name is Sean, and I'm from Beastgrip to answer any questions anyone may have - I'm an open book. :)
What's the point of this? Just get a nice real camera instead. There's no convenience nor quality to this, that I can see.

Damn near everyone in the western world has a smartphone, many with stellar capabilities for casual/amateur photography. This is for people like them.
It's not that deep, is it?
PEDAT
This thing doesn't work with casual/amateur photography as well as a DSLR would, for many reasons. DSLR usage is way more all-around convenient than setting your phone in and out of this thing for intermittent picture taking; and you wouldn't keep this thing around your phone all day, since you'd probably want to use it for other things. A DSLR is more of a casual/amateur "throw it around your neck and forget it until the picture moment presents itself" sort of affair.
For people not interested in DSLRs, they'd just use their phone and forgo any contraptions like this one. For the rest with disposable income, this would likely be a nice novelty for a short amount of time.
Like the representative from the company that makes this gizmo mentioned in his responses above, this is more a blogger/ live streaming setup sort of affair.
I hope this helps.
