I spent quite a while trying to decide between Arabian Night, Jewel Blue, or Milky Way, but when I went to buy one they were all sold out anyway. Damn. I guess I will have to wait for the next time.

CaznaTerra Gold wasn't available on the first day. Drop Support told me to check the drop every day because changes might happen. Just now, I saw that Terra Gold in Fine is available so I guess it's a good idea to check the drop every day until it ends.

Is this pen as huge as it seems in photos?

itsmeagain1I saw them on display a few months ago at TY Lee Taipei. They weren't on the chubby/oversize side for me.

"Gold Ore" is pictured as a color option in this drop, yet when I went to buy it, no such option exists...sold out or otherwise. What gives? Why show the option if it was never available within this drop? Is it now? Will it be?

"A Pretty pen a great writer does not make" you can quote me on that one... No EF nib, no posting, short pen, the drastic taper of the grip section and the glow in the dark gimmick.... Oh, just tell me why is that useful, unless it provides enough light to write with in the dark. I hate to admit I sleep at night so it’s useless to me. This fountain pen is well suited for someone who likes flair and has petite hands. "NOT" a pen for me.

Two things that make this pen a terrible thing. First, that step up between the holder and the barrel is horrible and will feel like crap in your hands. Second and worst of all, why on earth would you put a Schmidt nib on this? Those nibs are terrible as various people here have found out first hand.

The pictures clearly show Schmidt stamped on the nib. They don't do that for assemblers do they?

EricInMarylandFrom the Edison Pen website: Schmidt does not manufacture nibs.  Schmidt buys their nibs from JoWo and Bock and then they assemble and distribute."

While I love the faceted bodies... the fact that the cap doesn't post is a deal breaker for me. :( Am I the only weirdo who hates a cap that doesn't post?

jessicajewelI agree, the pen is too short in length not to be postable. I would rather them remove the facets so the pen can post. I am not worried about roll.

jessicajewelMy issue with a non-posting cap is loosing it / setting it aside; being in too much of a jotdown mode to remember where I "safely laid" my cap down. Anybody else find themselves looking high and low for runaway caps now and then?

Received mine from the most recent drop today. Nib/feed were improperly seated when it arrived, so ink wasn't reaching the tip, but it's friction fitted into the collar so it was a simple enough thing to fix. Nib is super smooth.
