I had the same experience as the poster below me. My pen came with quite a few defects where the "fill" (the colored part of the pen) was missing and you could see clear through the body of the pen. There were many other places that looked like "fill" material had bubbled. Also the nib is comically small compared to the body of the pen.
That being said, I think it's really pretty and I might have kept it if it wasn't for all the defects in the body.
This really isn't a nice pen. In some places on the body there is no finish, you can see the pen mechanism through it. The plastic feels light and cheap. It was intended for a gift so I haven't inked it yet, I can't say how it writes. I may not bother gifting it since it really isn't nice enough. Could end up going to the office gift exchange next year instead, at least no one will know it was me.
I personally don’t think its worth the money. Its a nice pen, Light weight, writes smooth... The shape is unique but it makes so the cap and body don't actually match up properly, and can only be posted in a specific way. which makes it annoying. and while light weight can be nice, it feels like a fairly cheap plastic, though i haven't had any of the typical "cheap plastic" issues yet, i don't use it all that often.
