Anybody have one of these to post pictures of? Particularly the blue and/or bronze version? I really like bronze, but it varies SO MUCH from knife to knife/company to company that it’s hard to judge just from the stock photos alone. This one appears to be a lighter shade, almost what I would call a “champagne” color, but I’ve bought knives that appeared much lighter in the pictures than they actually were in person. The MD/FF Buc is the first(and worst) that comes to mind. Was MUCH darker in person. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

JP9MMWell, of course, idk why I didn’t just do that first. Ha. But thank you for the video link. Honestly, I had to turn it off about 3-4 minutes in because of the reviewer’s accent/voice. Was like nails on a chalkboard to me for whatever reason. Ha. But I still saw enough that I believe I’m going to edit my order and go with the bronze over the blue. It looks to be exactly what I like bronze to look like on a knife. So thanks again. Have a great day/weekend.

This is a ridiculously nice knife. Insanely well made for the price. Kinda enormous, but if that doesn't bother you, 100% worth a look.

Damn thats a good lookin piece and love the g10 bestechs i own. Only problem for me is i can get another benchmade for the price but considering the materials its priced good actually. The Kizer matanzas is ti and cf with s35vn but not anodized and retails at $200 ish. Luckliy i scored an open box one for about half as i would never have paid full retail bc theres To many deals to be found for knives if you shop around for a little while. As for the Pterodactyl im definitely thinking about it thou ,love the green.

Beautiful, definitely a reverse tanto/modified sheepsfoot and not a drop point though

Of all my BesTechs, this Pterodactyl comes closest to perfection in my eyes. The look, the feel, the perfect blade shape for utility, and the use of carbon fibre that looks pretty but functions as an overtravel stop for the framelock.

I have one, it's pretty sweet. Bestech also released the Skyhawk and Shinkansen models which look nice too, the Shinkansen is a front flippper. For a good deal on these (and any) knives without waiting on a drop I will share a hint: WMK + LTK. That's all I'll say about that 🤐

KavikThe prices have risen enormously compared to 1 year ago! I bought my 1st two for about 1/2 that. A fellow collector buddy & a gentleman on here all agreed the Bestechs would go way up when everyone caught on to their quality! I know several knife makers that told me after initial runs that there are many that sub their work out to Bestech because of the high quality!

GunsI agree that in general Bestechs quality is easy above their price point, but that's not really what I'm saying here.
Just annoyed that this very knife dropped for the first time just about 2 months ago, and all of its from the first drop paid about $25 more than this drop.... That's usually the opposite of how it goes.
Just annoying for previous buyers, but great news for anyone joining this time around 👍
P. S. I just realized I never came back to review this one. Doing that now. Spoilers: it's a great knife, with a couple minor flaws in my eyes. But I'd still recommend it
