Beyerdynamic headphones have a range of sound signatures. Some favor mids, others the low end, but very few Beyerdynamic headphones emphasize the high end as well as the DT660s. These headphones really shine for rock, jazz, classical, and electro. Cymbal crashes, Violins, and guitar solos are center stage with this headphone. They are articulated, forward, and engaging. Not something you normally find in a closed headphone, or any headphone in this price range.
