Comparing these to the ones from beyerdynamics website it looks like this might be slightly different in build?
I.e. the cable connecting to headphones is solid while this one is not.
The band looks thicker on the website and made out of looks like leather vs this one looks like foam.

DreathorThe headphones you are seeing on Beyerdynamic website looks to be a new update. I purchased my DT990 about 2 years ago. It wasn't from Massdrop and the cord looks exactly like what you see here. No telling when Beyerdynamic made the change. For a moment, I thought they changed it to a detachable cable.
