Can anyone confirm that the 'Lock' is for when you're driving along and something happens in front of you, you can hit that button and it saves the current recording?
Duncan6I believe the "lock" button is a physical button to release the camera from the mount (button faces the windshield, not the driver). The camera has a built in G sensor that when triggered automatically locks the files to prevent overwriting. This is how my DR650 works.
Duncan6Negative. That "Lock" button you see is pressed to release the camera from the mount. The camera slides out of the mount for easy service without having to peel off the adhesive mount from your windshield.
