I want to build something similar (choc switches/rgb led) but with a different controller, and would like to see the schematic/board layout.
Is there any github or other documentation for this?
Is there a manual that tells all? With the default firmware:
Lower Right + Upper Left = DFU (Or use tweezers across RE pads)
Lower Right + 1 = LED On/Of
Lower Right + 2 = LED Mode
Any other combinations?
So, the LEDs on half the board suddenly stopped working, but the first one that is "off" still faintly glows blue. Anyone have any ideas why and how to fix this?
KUNGPAOMine started out all on in red. Then just the top row. Now they are all off. Took about an hour. Re-plugging the cable makes no difference.
EDIT: Mine appears to be completely dead. It is drawing zero current.
Edit2: It came back to life. But only the left top row two LED light. Whaaaa?
So this may or may not be a dumb question, but as I've seen some sexy low profile hot swap keebs around. I personally haven't ever used them or own any. With that said, does the supplied PCB only support low profile switches or could I theoretically plug in a Kaihl or Cherry MX Brown/Silver /etc plate mount switch in there? (And of course for using non low profile keycaps).
That make since....I figured that's the case. I'm still confused about the whole power outlet looking switches as far as keycaps to use, since Cherry mx has low profile switches and cooler master has some incredible looking concave low profile keycaps but they are the same as regular mx keycaps just slim. So someone else needs to buy one and lemme know if this PCB takes these choc switches and cherry mx low profile switches and then I will be out of a cool macro pad...but I will have all the knowledge I need for the NEXT High profile case with low profile switches and keycaps. (Think of the CNTRL and ALT high profile....but with low profile keycaps and switches.)
Yeah the community here's pretty great, (but I'm not that nice, lol I was going to get one anyways) I'm hoping it will improve my 3D modeling workflow. I couldn't tell you which keycaps will fit on it, but I imagine they're all different, I don't think there's a "low profile" keycap standard really.
but I looked it up, and if you're talking about the SK630, then it's this keyswitch which looks like the mx standard...
SurameraiYeah, can confirm pin position is different on choc switches. Regular switches won't work on this specific PCB - However I think the same company also offers other PCBs that will work with other switches.
